On an early morning in the month of June I began my journey to Kasol (Himachal Pradesh). Amidst this brutal summer of northern India all I could think of is the Parvati River which flows through the valley where I have planned my stay.
We took a Train from Jaipur to Delhi followed by a Volvo bus ride from Delhi - Chandigarh - Bhuntar - Kasol. Arrived at the place at 9 AM and to my surprise it had rained continuously from past 2 days which worked in our favor as the entire valley was surrounded with mist, coming from a place where the temperature was soaring around 40 degrees and you can literally get a sunstroke if you are out for more than 10 mins, I couldn't believe my eyes, I was awestruck.
The place is called The White House, apt name as it is the biggest guest house located in the valley but similarities end there. A great place with ample space to stretch your legs or to carry on the conversations into the midnight at the open lobby with your mates.
Woke up early only to find myself dumbfounded again
Place also houses a porch right at the riverbed where we spent hours seeking divine assistance, loosing ourselves to the nature and yeah some conversations.
The cook is a magician, from Indian to Israeli food, anything you wish will appeal to your taste buds. Initially I wondered if I am so fond of the food courtesy my munchies after few round of passing around the "You know what", but other sober minds vouched for the taste.
We were here for 4 days, weather cleared on the 3rd day post which headed for a 4km trek from katagala to the Kasol City. Most of our time was spent sitting at the porch. Well I have lot more to say but for now I'll rather let the pictures speak for themselves.

So that Katagla (kasol) for you. Pictures literally doesn't do justice to what this place truly is.
